Log cabin? Timber frame house? AAHHHH

we are planning to build next year, not necessarily, it can also be earlier. Now we have agreed. Chosen the municipality, negotiating the plot is still ahead of us. I wanted a log house for a long time. She wanted a typical Swedish house.

You find too much wood with me / I find too little wood with her (visible) Now there are probably wooden houses that balance both reasonably well. So-called solid wood construction. Stommel Haus would probably be such a company.

My first question: Who knows a reasonably affordable company that offers something like this? 1700€/sqm (turnkey) is really too expensive for us.

We are looking for wooden houses where you can see wood but not too much :) up to about 1200€/sqm (turnkey)

So my prefabricated house company will build everything on the outside of the house for you for money. I have seen pictures of buildings in the Allgäu that have received the typical wooden paneling from there. But unfortunately, your price expectations do not fit at all with my provider. We are easily at 1700 €/sqm WITHOUT additional construction costs.
