A window handle and the fittings are not designed to be used like a normal door. The permanent solution would be to install a side entrance door. These are also available with a high glass content. Do you need the tilt function there?

The tilt function is already needed or I would have to install an additional ventilation. The small technical room is already heating up unbearably because of all the technical stuff.

I have now found window handles that protrude more so that the square spindle sits more in the frame/flesh and at the same time do not protrude so much that the roller shutter cannot run past. The current problem is I only find them in UK shops.

Depending on the size of the window opening, a tilting window element can also be installed at the top. But of course, a better option would be the minimally invasive variant. UK - uh, it could also be that the dimensions do not fit exactly. So from the square section. Pay attention to that!

We have a side entrance door with a tilt window in the upper part. Because we also wanted to be able to close the door from the outside and the utility room should not get an additional window to save wall space.

The only disadvantage is that there is no roller shutter in front of the window.

Just order it from the UK if the dimensions fit. If necessary, you will have to pay customs or something similar.
