We want to build a house. Regarding the question of construction type/material, we came across this material, also based on the experiences of my parents-in-law (who built with Liapor). When researching which companies manufacture wall elements with this material, I keep coming across the same company again and again.

Am I searching incorrectly and Liapor is just the brand?
Are there companies that manufacture wall elements made of expanded clay?
Does anyone know the market for this material?

For example, Liapor is the name used by Kastell-Massivhaus.

Just search for expanded clay, then you will get more results.

Here are some names:
Varioself
h+l Bauherren, which also includes Lechner Massivhaus (here it is called Klimapor)
SMF

Ideal-heim-bau
Rosehaus

We also want to use this construction method. We have already received initial offers from several, but still need to optimize them a bit.
Apparently, this construction method is somewhat more expensive than a conventionally built stone-on-stone house.
Or has anyone had different experiences.

The reason this variant is more expensive is that all precautions are already taken. The empty conduits for everything are already installed in the walls.
Moreover, these walls achieve a significantly better U-value.
