Hello everyone,

A few months ago we received our building permit. The day before yesterday we found a letter from the BG in our mailbox asking us to list which companies will do what. Since we will be doing much of the work ourselves and will also be commissioning the companies ourselves, we are still in the offer phase. We have NOT started construction yet and will not do so before March 2018 at the earliest. We have also not awarded a contract to any company yet, as we are still waiting for some comparative offers.

Can someone tell me what we should fill in there now if we don’t have anything yet? Do we have to enter the total construction costs including incidental construction costs or without? Do siblings and parents also have to be listed as helpers?

Just give them a call and explain the situation.
BG Bau will set it aside for resubmission when construction begins.

I would send it back to them without any entries with the note that the construction work has not started yet.

You will receive this form again and again in the next few months. Then you fill out the trades that have been completed by then. The rest remains unfilled.

The topic of construction helpers is not that simple.
See the information sheet for this.

Siblings and parents must be listed and therefore also paid for if they are working on a larger scale. The tricky thing is: If something happens to your family members, the BG Bau will try to get out of it and refer to voluntary services. So you are obliged to pay insurance for relatives, but you will not receive any compensation in case of emergency. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that nothing happens to you.

If you plan a lot of personal contributions, then you can and should budget at least a thousand for BG Bau in your calculation.

If you really do a lot with your family, it might make sense to simply take out a suitable [UV] privately. It doesn't really cost much, but helps immensely in case of emergency.

And be precise with the step listings. They notice if you cheat roughly there.

The bg is really a club of its own! I know two cases from the green forum, both went to court and in both cases contributions were paid for helpers, but after the accident they don't want to pay because of the family.

Unfortunately, one of them was even fatal, while the other son's "only" finger was severed.
