Legal advice in Germany is exclusively reserved for the advising professions

I thought something had changed there once. Anyway: I quickly googled, and this is what came up:

Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz

The law regulates in detail how and by whom the "independent provision of out-of-court legal services" may be carried out. A legal service is defined as “any activity in specific third-party matters, as soon as it requires a legal examination of the individual case.”

According to the law (§ 2), legal services are NOT:

- the preparation of scientific expert opinions,
- the activity of arbitrators, conciliation bodies or mediation,
- the discussion of legal issues addressed to the general public in the media.

Source: Wikipedia (Yes, I know ;))

So: if you keep it somewhat general, you are allowed to discuss "general facts". A forum is indeed part of the media...

If someone wants to invest more time in the topic, then go ahead :)

Hello

since some users here also run a business (I have also used a service) I can understand that they do not want to practice legal advice. That should be accepted. There are lawyers for that and yes unfortunately they also cost money (unless you did not forget the RSV when building)

Regards

one should simply accept it if someone here does not want to give a binding statement!

Then he doesn't need to press the reply button either. But it has nothing to do with [Gewerbetreibenden]... It's about the topic "Dürfen"!

yeah sure. But if you are involved in construction consulting etc. and provide information here, you could also be held liable.
