Hello,

we are currently working on a new building and it’s about stair lighting. It is a cantilevered wooden staircase. There are a total of 16 steps. Every 2 steps, a light should be installed into the sand-lime brick/concrete wall. The wall in which the lights are to be installed is curved.

They should be flush-mounted LED recessed spotlights. There are quite a lot of those. But how to get them into the wall? I was thinking of a 60mm flush-mounted box. However, there is very little selection of recessed spotlights for such a flush-mounted box.

Are there other options WITHOUT using a wooden structure or a bracket? As mentioned, the lights should be installed directly into the wall.

Best regards and many thanks in advance for your answers!!

I also searched for a long time... Do you want round or square spotlights? Should the spotlights really "illuminate," or are they more for visual effect?

Hi,

they will probably be round. However, for your 60mm flush-mounting box, there are both variants. It should only serve the step lighting/appearance. The spotlights are not intended to be used as room lighting or similar.
