I just saw it in the TV spot. A large electronics retailer is once again offering a top deal. Household appliances from 150 euros can be "written down" today and paid for only in 2009! The new debt trap?
I would see it that way too, yes. Many people probably think, oh, by then I will definitely have the money together, but then it doesn't quite work out and you can't pay. Or you become unemployed in the meantime and can't pay. I think something like that is not sensible and only brings people more debt. Either I have the money and pay for what I want to buy right away or I just don't buy it ;-)
whenever you buy something on credit, there is a catch. in that regard, you certainly never get anything for free. if you don't pay, they will surely take legal action against you. who knows how much you’ll have to pay extra if you can't pay on time...
yeah, there's definitely a catch to that. But maybe Media Markt also works with factoring and can just sit back and relax because then someone else has the problems with collecting the money :-D
Yes, but even if they work with professional "debt collectors," the hole is still pretty big after such an action. I mean, it's clear to me that they are not exactly starving, but as Leeloo already said, it somehow sounds like a secured call to go into debt. Really weird thing!
Hello everyone, I also think that this is just a pure debt trap. Buying on credit is already so easy today. Most don't even ask anymore whether someone has a job or not. Really crazy. Especially the young keep slipping into such traps again and again.
