Landfill costs (ancillary construction costs)

does anyone have experience with landfill costs/ disposal?

Our soil excavation was done for a basement of the size 8x10m. Only the landfill costs with transport to the landfill (excluding soil excavation work) were charged as a flat rate of about 8,000 euros.

Is that usual?

What quantity was calculated? For us, it was 425m3 at 19.5€ each. That meant over 8000€ as well.

we were quoted 3,200€ for removal, storage, and reinstallation of basement excavation (6.5 x 11m + working space around). The plot is too small, it would never have all fit on it. Fortunately, we have nice neighbors, so our pile of earth could extend over the border on all sides, and we didn’t have to use this item. You had more m³ I think, but it still seems quite expensive to me...

In the order of 8T euros, the landfill costs would have also been around that amount for us here. Excavation 9*11 m to a depth of 0.9 m, partially up to 1.2 m.

Landfill costs can – for us it is like this here – vary depending on the result of the chemical (LAGA) soil report.

We had LAGA Class 0 (completely uncontaminated soil).

Another construction company was able to use our excavation. Thus, at the time, I only incurred costs for one truck/driver amounting to about 700,-.

I just checked: 225 m³ were hauled away from us and the same amount was stored to the side and distributed later. The excavated soil hauled away cost us just under €4,300, landfill and hauling included. This only includes the taxes, not the machine and labor hours. In my opinion, your price is realistic.
