Hello everyone,
we want to buy a plot of land for a new house. Unfortunately, there is only one water connection at the property boundary to the neighbor. This water connection is supposed to be made accessible for both properties using a T-piece (branch). (We are supposed to bear the costs for the T-piece because the neighboring plot is not yet for sale). My question is, first of all, how is this supposed to work? Do we have to pay the costs, or does the property seller have to accommodate us? Is it even possible for two parties to access one water connection without further problems arising? (The concern is that if the other party does not pay for the water and it is then cut off, it will also be cut off for us.)
Thank you very much for a quick response
Best regards
