Hello everyone,

I am looking for an intercom / doorbell system for my new build.
Flush-mounted, RFID for opening, camera.
So far so good, you can find plenty of those online, cheap but also expensive.
The catch is, I don't want to open it only via a proprietary monitor or an app, but also via software on the PC.
At least the image from the camera should be displayed on my PC. That means it definitely has to be a LAN camera.
Do you know any provider that has this in their portfolio?

Regards
Flo

The systems from Dahua, which are sold under various brand names, have built-in IP cameras with POE. I have one from turm (importer). There are apparently also some with better or more user-friendly GUI.

The app from Goliath or Dahua was somewhat delayed during testing on the tablet and the delay varied in length. I did not find that user-friendly. After some testing, I therefore additionally installed a small 7-inch monitor from Dahua next to the home office space. Displaying the image via the PC works through the browser.

We now access them via our own smart home APP / GUI without noticeable time delay ...

The Doorbird should be able to do that via the HTML 5 widget. I bought one with UP, RFID, and pin, but haven't installed it yet. The camera is not the best, but according to tests, everything would work (hopefully).

I throw the 2N Verso IP or IP Style into the ring. Works perfectly!
