hello,
We are planning the installation of 3 PSK doors. Does anyone have experience with the company Kneer?

Best regards
Birgit

Why PSK and not a lift-and-slide door?

Because the PSK are significantly cheaper and can be tilted.

I also find the threshold good as protection against incoming water.

My parents have a lift-and-slide door and my aunt has a tilt-and-slide door.

In terms of handling, the tilt door was terrible (this is just my personal opinion). Comfort is something completely different. It regularly got stuck, didn’t open on the first try. Then you had to start over to get the door open. Horrible....

The lift-and-slide door is more expensive, that’s true. But the comfort over 30 years is priceless. We have an offer here for a 3m lift-and-slide door from Gealan S9000 for ~3200€ and alternatively PSK ~1800€.

Hello Zaba,
From which brand was the PSK door?

Best regards
Birgit

I can't tell you that anymore. But the handling was really not nice. Out of 10 times, I probably had to start over at least 5 times to open the PSK.

With a bit of practice, I think it works, but I wouldn't give up the comfort for €1500.
