Klinker wanted! (Red - Reddish brown)

we are currently looking for clinker for our new building.

we had chosen MOORBRAUN SCHWARZ PREMIUM (from Vandersanden).
Unfortunately, according to the manufacturer, it is BROWN.

However, our development plan only allows RED and RED-BROWN as clinker colors. The municipality relies entirely on the manufacturer, so now I need your collective knowledge.

we are therefore looking for a clinker that is "as brown as possible" (ideally similar to the one mentioned above), but is sold by the manufacturer as RED or RED-BROWN.

so, if you have any ideas, we would be very happy if you could help us.

That means the municipality defines "red" as whatever is labeled "red" on the packaging?

That's common... According to the plan, we also specified red clinker bricks - and all around we have not only red, but yellow-brown, dark aubergine, etc... As long as 'red' is in the name. Just like with roof tiles. Don't care if they reflect, as long as 'matt' is in the name, everything is great

Correct... otherwise such a definition is hard to make... for one person you see red there, for another not so much. That’s why the community informed us that they rely on the information from the manufacturer. Well, if red is written on the package and it is DARK black, that probably won’t work either.

Then have the manufacturer produce a special batch labeled as "red" for you. Does the municipality actually inspect the stones beforehand, or is it only about a label in the building application?
