Hello fans,
I wanted to install my Bredskär sink (52cm version) today. Unfortunately, the clips didn’t work AT ALL. I cut the hole exactly as instructed (7mm smaller all around than necessary).
First attempt: As described in the instructions, I mounted all the clips and then tried to install it. That doesn’t work AT ALL. Since the clips don’t rotate, they need a lot of space, and no matter how you twist and turn the sink, it just won’t go in.
Second attempt: Trying to insert the clips from below afterwards. That works somewhat, but rather extremely crappy. Threading the clips past the 38mm countertop and working from underneath is incredibly difficult.
Right now I’m thinking about just not fixing it at all and only sealing it all around with silicone because I’m really fed up. The instructions on this are extremely crappy. And even in the videos, it’s basically shown as a no-brainer. So either I’m completely clueless or it’s really not as easy as it looks.
How did you do it?
Best regards, Peter
