Hello.. Question 1.. I have to cover the kitchen island from the back as well. If I use the side panels, I'm missing 1.4 cm. (Total width 180 cm plus side panel from the side 1.4 cm) Now the friendly Ikea specialist advised me to take two 192 cm long side panels and cut them to my measurements. So far so good, but how do I cut the high-gloss sides without the edges fraying, and how do I best attach them to the cabinet (the cardboard walls probably won’t hold that). Regards @ll

With simple iron angles. I would probably mount doors on the back side and if there are no drawers in the cabinet, with hinges so that I can use the cabinet from both sides.
