Kitchen island with PRÄGEL countertop

Hello everyone!

We have a countertop of the type PRÄGRL in white in the kitchen unit. The cooking island should get the matching countertop in the dimensions 166.6x124. Now I am a bit unsure which edges we need to order. Is the PRÄGEL countertop rounded at the front? Or is it a "plastic edge"?

Can I actually order the countertop by phone or via the Internet? Or do I have to go there in person?

the Prägel board is a standard Ikea board with a rounded front edge. The custom-made boards, like the ones you need for your island, are called Personlig. To achieve the white color of the Prägel board, you would need to take the pure white Personlig. I believe it has the number 4974. Please take another look at it on site next to the Prägel. You can also get the front edge of the Prägel with the custom order, and this is included only at the front edge. Now you should consider how you want to equip the remaining surrounding edges. If you take the normal straight plastic edge, which is on the sides and back of the Prägel, you pay €12 per meter. If you want this rounded edge all around like on the front, you pay €36 per meter for that. Please keep in mind that it is an inserted edge, so especially with pure white, you will see the cut, meaning the joint to the board itself.
