Hello, the commitment interest on our KFW loan for a purchased house is due in February. It amounts to €100 per month. The seller's move-out is delayed, which was also agreed upon in the notary contract, but it could have worked out earlier. I called the investment bank to ask if they would disburse the loan so that we could start repaying. It was rejected, supposedly it is not earmarked. I read that a priority notice of ownership and a land charge entry in the land register are sufficient to get a disbursement from them. This was also done by the notary. Where is the problem that they are stalling? I am not running away with the money.

Hello inamiga,

I don't know which KfW program you will be using.

But normally the commitment fees are lower at 3% than the interest rates for the disbursed loan. Therefore, I don't quite understand what you want to achieve with an immediate disbursement.

Best regards
