Hello everyone, I am planning to build a single-family house this year and want to heat it with my parents' existing wood chip heating system. For this, about 60m of district heating pipeline + one crossing under the street + a transfer station would be necessary. My heating installer informed me that since last year no subsidies are paid by the KfW for district heating pipelines in new builds. At the KfW info hotline, I was told there is still such a program, but I should get information via the internet or the house bank. Since the application must be submitted through a bank, I inquired there, but unfortunately, they have no knowledge about it at all. Does anyone of you have any idea if there is still a subsidy for district heating pipelines or only a low-interest loan. Best regards Richi

did they also give a number? Otherwise call again and have them give you concrete information...

Unfortunately, you have to serve some bank salespeople (to me they are not advisors) your wishes (including solutions) on a silver platter.
