Hello everyone,

we have been offered the two systems Judo isoft-Safe and Grünbeck softliq sd21 from our sanitary supplier at almost the same price. I have found some negative reviews about the Judo system, and of course a few about Grünbeck as well, but overall significantly fewer. I have not found any information about the average maintenance costs. From your perspective, is one of the two systems more recommendable?

We are building a 160 sqm single-family house in the Berlin suburbs and there are 4 of us. The water consumption is average overall but also relatively irregular: during the week it tends to be low, on the weekends the washing machine often runs several times and a bath is usually involved as well.

Thanks in advance to you all!

I would almost claim that the SD21 is oversized, as it is designed for 1-9 people.

The SD18 is for 1-4 people and should actually be sufficient as well.

That may be. We are not sure because the Grünbeck regulates itself and there may possibly be problems with fluctuating withdrawal quantities.

Does anyone have experience with the Judo system?

We have a Grünbeck SC18 for currently 2 people. We use about 4-7 m3 of water per month. Maintenance will come sometime next year.

We have had the Judo in operation and no problems at all, but it has only been running for just under a year.

Thanks to everyone. After careful consideration, it will be the SD18.
