Hello everyone,

we want to have our natural stone floor (60x120cm, 2cm thickness, "Ceppo di Gre" on underfloor heating) installed with the narrowest possible joints. What joint width would you recommend, what experiences do you have?
When searching online, the specifications vary between 1mm and 3mm. Is 1mm technically feasible or would that be reckless?

Thanks and regards

Frank

Theoretically, they can already be laid with two millimeter joints. However, this usually fails due to the tiler and the non-millimeter-precise dimensions of the slabs. More realistic is, depending on the joint pattern, 4 mm, as we painfully had to learn.
