Hello, we are now nearing the end of our house construction. We have noticed that it takes quite a long time for the water to get warm. In the shower, 3.5 liters have flowed before the water got warm (not yet hot). Is that normal? Thank you very much in advance for your help. Best regards

Do you have a circulation line? Is the corresponding pump in operation? If you do not have circulation, yes, then it can take some time depending on the length of the line.

No, we do not have a circulation pipe. The pipe should not be very long... The room is directly above the room from which the connections come.

Without circulation line, 3.5L is fine now.

3.5 liters I don't find particularly long. Here in the rental apartment (not an 8-story block, only two apartments in the house) it feels like more goes through.

I find it quite long. We have a 7l/min showerhead and if I imagine having to let the water run for 30 seconds... with a total shower time of three minutes... that would be too much for me. We don’t have a circulation pump and the water comes out hot in 5 seconds. Instant water heater that hangs next to the shower. It doesn’t get any more economical than that.
