Hello,
I have a question about our house construction:

Is the wall penetration sealed properly like this? It doesn’t look perfect to me with the construction foam. But maybe this is always done this way? I am a bit concerned about the sealing.

I only know it with a kind of empty conduit through which everything is pulled. This also makes maintenance easier in the future. They also always have a cover in the front and can be pulled through the wall more cleanly. Most of the time they are additionally insulated. Just google "Wanddurchführung Wärmepumpe". It looks like botched work to me as a layman in your case, but whether it can be done like that or if you can demand rectification, I don't know. It will depend on the current standard.

Assuming that it looked like this with us. (right after installation - so please do not pay attention to cleanliness or missing insulation), I would probably cause my heating engineer physical pain if he tried to foist such a botch job on me as you have.

I wouldn’t lose weight like that either. Someone just took the easy way out and saved money in the process. I would rather take a closer look at the rest as well.

We also received a kind of insulated empty conduit, which was then plastered over.
