Hello everyone,

our house is finally growing. Roof trusses, underlay membrane, and battens are all in place, only the tiles are missing.

Since last night it has been raining "normally," no wind. In several spots, water is dripping along the rafters inside, puddles on the chipboard floor in the attic.

Is that okay? Or does the carpenter need to come back?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Yeah, we are already working on the issue with our construction consultant. The carpenter has since made improvements twice. And our spraying today still resulted in puddles. After initially everyone said it had to be watertight, it seems to be gradually relativizing: does it have to be watertight or just somewhat watertight? Opinions are gradually diverging on that. The membranes themselves are watertight. And we have finally located the exact points of penetration: various junctions around the roof windows. But at another house in the same construction phase, we saw today that you can even look up at the sky through those spots. Let’s see how it turns out.
