Is the lintel missing above the terrace door here?

In the picture, you can see the patio door, above it there are bricks as clinker. Isn't a lintel missing here for support?

The lintel is securely behind the bricks in the wall.

Sure. That's pretty much how every brick-clad house looks. Mine from the 60s too. Behind the brickwork, there's often the roller shutter box and above that a lintel (or the concrete ceiling).

That's exactly how it is. Bricks are used as facing bricks. Is it really safe if the bricks are just simply mortared in place?
