Is it possible to increase/expand Ikea Pax?

Hello Ikea fans,

I need a Pax wardrobe for my anteroom and have a nice ceiling height of 3.40 m. Is there a way to extend the wardrobe upwards?

Hello, there used to be PAX wall cabinets, but that doesn't help you. You can put a Faktum base cabinet on top (only available with you until April?).

if you are handy and have a carpenter who can cut something neatly for you, get a second Pax and cut it to the missing length. If you take the 236 cm high Pax, get a 201 cm one as well and cut it in half. Leave out the base and the bottom shelf. Then attach the top part from the inside with brackets or a strip. It gets a bit more complicated with the doors, as you have to drill the hinge holes again. This method always works for me.
