I found nothing through the search function, so I am asking the forum whether it is allowed to post complete offers in anonymized form here? I was inspired to ask by the question of another forum member. If I remember correctly, I did not sign with anyone that the offer may not be published.

From my point of view, it would be helpful for many builders because they would then be able to more easily identify the gaps, among other things.

I wouldn't find it acceptable - playing unfairly and expecting fair treatment do not go together. There's no need to consider the aspect "helpful."

Could you please explain your remark to me? It's not clear to me what is unfair about it. I certainly want to avoid unfair behavior on my part in any situation. I didn't understand your remark; it was merely about helpful exchange of information between layperson builders. Then I withdraw my idea but would still be grateful for an explanation from you.

Hi ,

completely neutral, just for understanding: What do you think is "unfair" about it?

Me again. I could theoretically also open a "regulars' table" for builders in the region through an advertisement, and everyone brings all their documents and discusses them together. I would like to understand what is unfair about my proposal, even though I withdrew it.

Gladly.

Offers negotiated between two parties are confidential documents. Very often this is also stated in the offer. I consider it unfair to break this confidentiality with a publication. I find it unfortunate when you can no longer rely on the word of the other party. This applies equally to the seller as well as to the buyer.

I see that price comparisons of offers can fundamentally contribute to a desirable price transparency for us buyers. I definitely welcome this goal.

I do not like the choice of means. I value the ability to rely on each other higher than the value of price transparency. Of course, one can argue that reliability has already become problematic. I agree with that. At the same time, I think it is wrong for this reason to further undermine reliability with this notice.

Of course you could do that; it would no longer be a publication like in the public forum. In that form, there is already a very big difference. Not easy to draw a line.
Perhaps one can determine it by asking oneself whether one would be okay with this approach if one were in the other party’s position.
