We would like to buy an older house. Here are our key data: Equity: €45,000 House cost: €240,000 + €12,000 [grunderwerbsteuer] + €3,000 notary + €10,000 renovation = €265,000 = Loan amount needed: €220,000 Monthly net income available: €3,500 (maximum installment should not exceed €1,100) Thank you

The amount of the intended rate sounds quite reasonable. With this, the house should be paid off in 20-25 years. Options for financing will be shown to you by your house bank and an independent financing broker. ;) Are you sure that €10,000 in renovations will suffice?
