Dear community,
We are facing the following problem:
Six weeks ago, the lines for the multi-tenant house connection were laid for our new building by our supplier. At the same time, the lines for wastewater were laid in the same area (depth approx. 1-1.50m?). The soil was then compacted by the earthworks contractor.
In the past few weeks, our driveway has been used multiple times illegally as a shortcut by other construction companies. Sometimes with larger trucks. Since we do not live on site, we cannot say how often this occurred. However, we know that it happened quite frequently. Construction fences and water tanks were brazenly pushed aside or moved. The public order office and police could also do nothing unless someone was caught "in the act"...
To the actual question:
We are now concerned that the lines in the ground might possibly be damaged.
How do you assess the situation? Our earthworks contractor thinks that nothing should have happened. But you can only be sure if a part is opened up again. Of course, that costs money again, which we actually no longer have.
I am aware that no one on the forum can give me a definitive answer. However, your opinion and assessment would already help me.
PS: For example, the pipes for wastewater are still missing in the photos.
