Is an acrylic joint necessary on a plastered internal window reveal?

Hello,
our apartment has been completely renovated. In the process, all the windows were also replaced, and the interior walls were subsequently replastered.

Since I would like to do the painting work myself, I now have the question of whether an acrylic joint should be applied around the interior window frame, or if this is generally done.

The plaster fits perfectly against the window frame, so there is actually no visible "joint." The windows are partly wooden and partly plastic. The reveals were partly covered with Fermacell and partly with drywall and then plastered.

Thank you very much,
Michael

No! Why do you want to do that?

That is not necessary. If one finds that nicer, one can do it though.

It was a question of whether one does that, I did not say that I want to do that!
I am a complete layman and sometimes there are things that one just does (for a justified reason, of course), or doesn't.

All right, thank you very much :) So the risk of cracks forming here is less likely than between the wall and the drywall ceiling?
