Hello everyone,
I am still not convinced whether I need a lifting station. There are several reasons why I am unsure:
- Statement from the construction manager: "if there is a granny flat in the basement, then it is mandatory." I find this a bit too general, but he could be right (We are building in Baden-Württemberg). Do you know such a law/directive/etc.?
- The toilet in the basement is 1m higher than the sewer height in the inspection chamber
- we live at the very top of a hill and if the water is already standing on our street, then several villages are already flooded. So that is excluded.
How do you see it? What experiences do you have? Maybe someone from BW with a granny flat in the basement?
Thanks to you all and stay healthy!
