We are planning a major renovation of a single-family house built in '61.
The ceilings of the ground floor and the upper floor are constructed as reinforced concrete ribbed slabs.
(EG: Rib direction O <-> W; OG: Rib direction N <-> S)

My wish would be to create an opening in the ceiling of the bedroom to get a view of the sky/stars.
Before I approach a structural engineer with this request, I wanted to ask if there are people here who have experience with reinforced concrete ribbed slabs and can roughly tell me whether such an opening is even possible and affordable.

Well, I wouldn’t mess with this massive ceiling structure. I also think that it is not so easy from a structural standpoint to create an opening here.

What you might be able to do is drill a hole in the ceiling using core drilling. Then run a KG pipe from your bed through the roof. That way you could watch the stars’ movement from your bed. The bigger the hole, the more stars.

And depending on how the sun rises, you might also get some sun rays in bed in the morning.

Since your roof structure lacks the middle purlins, I virtually see the ceiling as a lower chord component of a two-part truss construction. That at least makes the request ambitious. With a roofing of corrugated Eternit, you might also have more urgent issues.

Sorry for only getting back to you now. The roofing with Eternit panels (yes, contained asbestos) has been replaced by ordinary clay tiles for quite some time.
