To my surprise, the interior plastering is supposed to begin at our place next week. The current temperatures fluctuate between -5 and minus -15 degrees. According to the forecast, it is expected to remain like this for the time being.
Does the plaster even hold at these temperatures, and does it not arrive already frozen? The front door and windows are installed, but there are no roller shutters yet, so there is quite a draft through the open roller shutter boxes. The plasterers want to bring a heating device and tape the roller shutter boxes with foil, but the house is extremely cooled down. Current indoor temperature -2 degrees...

Hello home builders 2012,
the wall temperature (inside) and the room temperature are interesting, they must be constantly above +5 degrees.
When drying the plaster, this must also be the case.

So the structure should be adequately tempered to prevent it from freezing through. Otherwise, there will be problems with the plaster mortar setting. Drying out should not be a problem, but it could take longer due to the lower temperatures and higher humidity.
