We bought a new terraced single-family house 2 years ago. I now want to take out insurance so that if something were to happen to me, my wife/family could continue financing the house. Is there such insurance? Recommendations? Thank you and regards D. Colacicco

Risk Insurance

Hello,

Yes, you can take out risk insurance, which means if something were to happen to you (in case of death), this insurance would immediately pay the insured amount to your wife/bank. This would allow your family to continue living in the house/apartment without any problems.

Additionally, you can also insure yourself in case of illness or accident, e.g., with a pension to compensate that you would only receive 80% of your current salary.

Hi,

I am taking up this question and I have a slightly different one. A colleague from Germany has been working in our company since today. This is not an April Fool's joke, but reality.

She is a cross-border commuter and now the question of health insurance arises.

Is there a combination where she can link both.

Thank you very much for the help.

Hello,

Yes, such a thing exists and she can take out a private health insurance in Germany. Here we have the GKV. There is also the form E 106.

Best regards

That's exactly how it is, and she must insure herself in both countries.

We have a joint insurance, and if something happens to one of us, the other is covered. I think that's important because dangers are everywhere. If this insurance doesn't exist, then the other is practically facing ruin.

Back to the initial question. We also have risk insurance and I consider that to be extremely useful. That is also important, because something can happen quickly and then the spouse is left without sufficient protection.
