Hello
I am planning a project to renovate our old pigsty.
Unfortunately, the room is not particularly high, but only 2.10m in height.
The foundation consists of about 50 cm thick concrete.
The ceiling is also a 40 cm thick concrete slab with steel beams.
One could now insulate the ceiling from above with mineral wool.
But the floor would have to be raised, which would make the already low height even lower.
Now my question is whether such massive and thick concrete still needs extra insulation at all.
Above 3 cm of insulation on the foundation floor, I would abandon the construction project.
Thank you very much in advance for the information. Best regards
