Good evening everyone,
We are currently assembling our IKEA Pax cabinets (236 cm) in an old building. The floor is level, the problem is the wall, which tilts outward at the upper area. This results in an offset at the bottom of 21 mm and an offset of about 55 mm at the height of the mounting holes at the top, additionally caused by a baseboard. Since we want to install a sliding door over 2 meters, I want to attach it to the wall this time. I have never done this for individual doors until now.
What ideas do you have for wall mounting?
My current idea: spacers (e.g., edge/round wood with holes) and then dowels and screws. I would use the dowels from Fischer and also glue them in. So far, I have had good experiences with this in this old building.
Anyone has another idea? I am thankful for any advice!
Best regards
