Hello everyone,
I have an offer for a timber frame house with the following wall construction. KFW 55 is the minimum requirement, the goal is Kfw 40, as long as it amortizes reasonably.
But I find the 8cm thick installation layer too thick when looking at the golden rule 1/3 to 2/3.
From inside to outside
Fermacell 12.5mm
Thermo hemp (installation layer) 80mm
OSB board 12mm
Mineral wool (WLG 035) or studs 180mm
Wood fiber insulation board 0.044 W/m²K 60mm
Lime cement plaster 10mm
If I look at other wall constructions, it will probably also come down to 120mm wood fiber insulation board to reach Kfw 40. With corresponding other measures, of course.
Or what are your opinions? Thank you very much
