Install Lagan dishwasher in Ikea Faktum kitchen?

Hello everyone,

since our old dishwasher (Whirlpool) gave up after 8 years, we are looking for a new one.

Does the current dishwasher LAGAN fit without any problems into our Faktum kitchen? The height should fit, since the Faktum kitchen stands on 16 cm high plinths, so it is about 87 cm up to the countertop.

However, the question is whether our old front from the old dishwasher would fit the Lagan dishwasher. The dimensions of the front are 69.5 cm x 59.5 cm.

Below the kitchen there is a plinth trim at the height of the plinth, about 16 cm. Would this possibly interfere when installing the new dishwasher?

Unfortunately, last week at Ikea in the store, I could not get any information about this because they supposedly never tried installing the new appliances into the old Faktum kitchen.

An instruction for Faktum makes no sense if the front does not fit. The front would not fit if the door were longer than the front. This cannot be the case due to the overall height of the device. I have no doubt that it works. In an emergency, you can return the machine. P.S. The device is also sold in Russia and Faktum still exists there.

Yes, the appliances fit because IKEA does not have its own platform for the appliances with METOD kitchens, only the front will be difficult, the LAGAN has only been available as fully integrated for 1 1/2 years now, so with a 70 cm front height for Faktum. But you have the semi-integrated ones and there the front was 57 cm high. So check if the front can be found in 70 cm height or build a stainless steel front in front, IKEA repurchase guarantee, buy semi-integrated elsewhere.

With fully integrated ones, some people are bothered that they don’t know when the appliance is finished, there are appliances that have an LED display on the floor/under the countertop that shows whether the appliance is still running or already finished. At IKEA these are Skinande and the new Välgjord.

I now also have a fully integrated dishwasher and my front is 69.5 cm high. So it should fit.

I am going to Ikea again shortly and will ask around once more.
