Hello everyone,
I am new here in the forum and hope to have found the right subforum with my concern. :)
I am currently researching drainage channels. More precisely, I want to install a drainage channel at my floor-to-ceiling windows (with a low threshold). The channel should run between the window frame, as shown in the picture below. For financial and aesthetic reasons, I would like to use a drainage channel with a length of 1m. I also have the necessary centimeters of space on the right and left under the frame. However, I probably have the problem that I won't be able to lift the grate anymore, or are there channels with appropriate mechanisms or multi-part grates for such cases?
If the idea I described is not a good one, I would be grateful if you could tell me how much space to the window frame is recommended. How could I "fill" the space to the frame in that case?
Thank you in advance and best regards,
Michl
