Dear forum,
I have relatively little to do with electricity, but I would like to upgrade the lighting circuits in my basement and outside a bit. It’s not much, but we simply miss the functions in everyday life. Of course, I only want to replace the switches present in the switch box and not rewire anything or so...

The following circuits exist:
a) A staircase lighting circuit with an Elpa 8 staircase light switch from Theben for the outside light
b) A basement light circuit with push buttons and a simple relay eltako S12-100.

What I would like and how I would realize it based on online research:
a) The outside light should have the possibility to be switched to continuous light (at least 1 hour) at the switch. For this, I have chosen the Theben Elpa 6, which is connected exactly like the current Elpa 8.
Is that correct? Are there other product recommendations?

b) The basement light should have a time switch, also with a continuous lighting function. For this, I need an impulse relay with the current wiring that offers this possibility, right? I am unsure which one I can and should take. The Eltako TLZ12-8PLUS has the function "impulse relay with fall-back delay" and should be suitable for this, shouldn’t it? Do I just omit the control voltage 8-230 V UC specified in the data sheet at terminals -C1 and +C1 with my wiring?

Thank you very much for your help, experiences, and tips on other/more suitable products!

This can be solved much more flexibly and also cheaper nowadays with smart components. Just google Sonoff or Shelly. You can install them directly in the switch box or behind the switch and create switching times and schedules as far as your imagination goes.
