Morning dear forum,

what is your opinion on the impact of all the crap that is going on in the world right now on house construction and its planning?

We will probably start building with the construction company in August, if all goes well. Although we have agreed on a fixed price, the concerns about whether this affects the construction, the company, the supply chains, etc. are of course still there.

How do you see it, those who are in a similar phase as we are?

I refer to my opinion from the week before last https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/auswirkungen-des-krieges-auf-baukosten-zinsniveau.42752/post-560695

Basically, nothing has changed about that. Energy is becoming more expensive and this quickly affects the entire supply chain in house construction.

IF a gas heating system is planned, I would reconsider it:

Medvedev welcomed us at the end of February into a world where 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 2,000 euros
(that is ONE kWh calorific value approx. 20 cents, plus the gas supplier's margin, VAT, ...)
