Hello Frank,
since we are not talking about 5 euro vouchers here, a healthy skepticism is normal and also healthy. Think of the grandmas with the nice, lost grandchildren. How do you want to prove that the amount is actually credited on the voucher? And how do you want to know that you will actually get money from the trustworthy buyer to whom you send the voucher in advance?
The safest option would be to meet at Ikea. There you can check the value on the card at the checkout in the presence of the buyer and, I believe, also have it printed out. Then the handover takes place and everyone is happy.
