Ikea Vika tabletop and Galant desk storage

can someone tell me if it is possible to screw the galant desk organizer onto a VIKA AMON tabletop? Since I would like to place 3 monitors on the desk organizer, it would also be interesting to know if the side panels of the organizer are "mandatory," i.e., if they can be omitted without any problems. Hi,

the part should not fit the Vika tabletop. Vika tabletops have a thickness of 3.4cm, the Galant tabletops only 2cm.
