Hello everyone,
unfortunately, I have a showstopper during assembly in step 22-23. The side boards are supposed to be slid into the low bed end in step 22 and screwed tight in step 23 with part no. 114670. However, the upper screw ends (part no. 114671), which were screwed to the feet in step 15, are not visible at all in the round hole about 3 cm in size on the side board. The upper screw sticks out about 3.5 cm, but the upper hole is 4 cm from the end of the board. In comparison: the lower screw sticks out 4.5 cm, and the lower hole is also 4 cm away, so that fits. In my opinion, the upper hole in the side boards should be offset, just like it is on the short board at the foot end (distance from the board end 2.5 cm). The same problem occurs at the head end! What now? Are there longer screws (part 114671)? Or should I drill new holes in the long boards myself – what would that mean for stability?
