Hello everyone,
a tile backsplash will be installed before mounting the upper cabinets, which will protrude about 13 to 14 mm from the wall. When mounting the cabinets with the wall rail, the cabinets will probably stand about 5 mm away from the wall at the top. This means that when the cabinets extend a few centimeters over the tile backsplash, they will stand almost 1 cm further away from the wall at the bottom than at the top, essentially leaning backward at the top. Does anyone know of a solution to prevent this from happening? I would rather not have the tile backsplash laid so that the cabinets fit exactly at its upper edge, because small inaccuracies could cause the cabinets to stick out somewhere, or there would be a gap between the wall and the backsplash underneath, which would be difficult to clean if it got dirty.
If anyone knows a solution, I thank you in advance for it.
Best regards, Armin
