I have the problem that the base cabinets, which are normally attached to the wall with a metal strip and stand on feet at the front, do not fit. Where the wall strip is normally supposed to go is exactly the end of the tile backsplash. My question now is whether the cabinets can also stand on the 4 feet, screwed together?

I don't have a method but I do have the Faktum since 2003... the base cabinets themselves are only screwed to the countertop and with 2 or 3 screws to each other - that holds (even my son can't push them away!)

The wall cabinets hang the same way for us - screwed to each other and only with 2 screws to the wall without a separate rail

The wall rail is overrated. I would never take it. It only makes sense if you have an absolutely straight, flat wall, and you don’t have that in 98% of all cases.
