Hello,

I would like to get a Malm bed in 140x200. Now I have read in some forums on the internet that (allegedly) only slatted frames and mattresses from Ikea really fit, and other brands tend to "slip through". Since I would like to use a slatted frame and a mattress from another manufacturer, I would be interested in your experiences on this topic!

Best regards,
Mac

Should normally work, because a 2 meter bed is exactly 2 meters long and has only small tolerances. Whether that is standardized, I don't know.

Is not standardized, but should still work. Sometimes it doesn't work because of the middle bar with the slatted frame, but you should still use it.

@Ikeaner:

Thank you. That was new to me. I could have sworn that it is standardized.
