Hi,

we are considering which bed to choose, visually we really like the "Brimnes", but unfortunately it has no headboard and I also don’t like lying with my head directly against the wallpaper ;)
So it will probably be the "Malm" bed in white, we just don’t know yet whether we should choose 160cm or 180cm. It would be cheaper with the 160cm, also because then we can get a large mattress, which is cheaper than two 90cm ones.

What do you think?

Thanks

Hello,

for 180 cm:

Having your own mattress and slatted frame is orthopedically better for everyone.
It is more likely to become too tight than too wide.
A 90 cm mattress is easier to turn and cover... than a 160 cm one.
If you separate, each person already has a mattress and a slatted frame.
Duvets fit better in the bed.

for 160 cm:

Better to cuddle in the middle without a visitor gap.
During sports activities, you can't "stumble" into the visitor gap.
A bit more space in the room.

I would prefer BRIMNES over MALM, as I did not have very good experiences with MALM. If you sleep as a couple, then 2 mattresses are enough.

There is a headboard for the Brimnes, even a very practical one with compartments? We have had the Brimnes with headboard ourselves for a few weeks and are absolutely satisfied.
