Ikea Lillholmen bathroom lamp cable storage

we are trying to hang up the Lillholmen bathroom lights. The instructions are actually clear, but somehow there is hardly any space to store the cable. Are we doing something wrong?

No, sometimes you just have to/can shorten the cable, then it definitely fits and otherwise you just have to tuck it in a bit, basically it should fit if you use all the space. But as I said, shortening is the safe way and makes it easy to store.
