Dear forum members

I have registered here for the first time because I plan to design and then realize an Ikea kitchen.
So, for example, I would post an initial draft here and friendly, experienced IKEA users would give me tips and help on what I should improve or change in my plan.
I have read through a few posts here briefly, but I have not seen any real planning assistance anywhere. Is that not common here?

Therefore the question:
Is it advisable to post my planning drafts here and ask for planning help?
Best regards

Hello,

this is kept very general and many here are not professionals. Of course, we always try to help, but help through pictures is never quite easy. I personally refrain from such planning aids because I don’t want to be responsible if something goes wrong. Because I am not a kitchen professional. If you have a question and get stuck, we always try to help.

The only person who comes to my mind here who probably knows a lot about kitchens (I could be mistaken) would probably be ikeaner here.

: Am I right???

If you want a perfect plan, I recommend the following procedure:
-IKEA kitchen measurement
-Own planning
-Forum questions/review
-Ask IKEA kitchen department
-Change the plan
-Forum questions/review
-Obtain a second opinion from IKEA kitchen department
-Have the kitchen purchased (shopping service)
-Have the kitchen delivered and assembled

This way you are more or less out of it.

There is no 100% certainty for the planning, but with this procedure you have many different opinions and minimize the source of errors. For installation and delivery you are not responsible, but the installers are, so you have the security that, in case of damage, you are free.

I hope I can help you.

Hello,

I haven't really found this anywhere either. I would also really appreciate it with "like-minded people". To be able to think about my planning. That doesn't mean you can't still get help and review at the furniture store. But it's something different than just discussing with the consultant in the furniture store.

Best regards, Tina
