Ikea kitchen METOD hanging rail 60205664 for base cabinets?

Hello,
what was your experience with the suspension rail 60205664 for base cabinets?
What is it needed for: installation or as a load-bearing element (in addition to the 4 legs of the cabinet)?

If necessary, can a lower load be assumed as long as the legs are on the floor, therefore in the dowel design going to 0.26 kN (= 26kg/dowel)?

Hello, originally the hanging rail is supposed to replace the rear legs. However, we still installed the legs at the back in our kitchen. The rail then only has two functions: 1. Easier alignment of the base cabinets. 2. Tilt protection, since we only have pull-outs and drawers in the base cabinets.
