Ikea Karlsö hanging umbrella fixing strap in the wrong place?

Hello everyone,

I bought an umbrella yesterday but something is not right.
The fastening strap attached to the umbrella is not positioned correctly, I am unable to attach the umbrella to the stand to give it some stability in the wind.

Here you can see how the umbrella is clipped onto the stand. It would be possible to turn it 180 degrees but then the fastening strap would be on the other side.

Here you can see the current position of the strap, basically one frame too far to the right.

The umbrella can only be turned slightly, if I were to turn it enough so that it fits then in my opinion that can’t be good for the threads etc., because there would be way too much tension on the umbrella frame.

Do you also have this umbrella and how is it for you? Is this a production error?

The band must be sewn on the outside of the covering and the umbrella rotated by 180°. The band only secures the folded umbrella.
